Apparently, 11 years ago he had some source that designated that quoted ranking.
But, yeah, with the popularity of marathoning in Japan, I would expect several dozen 3:10 M60-64 results there, alone. I really don't know. There must be some sort of tabulation somewhere?
Joan's DNS-forcing injury prior to her marathon, I suppose, may be evidence of just why these "later in life" high-level performances are so rare. With each passing year, it's just less-and-less likely to stay healthy while training at the required volume and intensity.
