I dunno. I think Lukas will be better than Webb or Fernandez in the long run.

There's an old saying that my coach taught me, "act like you've been there before." Manzano has been there. Lucas has not. This is a non story. Manzano will be there when it counts.

How much of that hype was from Lukas, and how much from the Oregon jerks?
Lukas is not going to be Webb, but it has still so far been a very good senior year from him.
This is the first time that anyone, no matter how sour, has accused the brojo's of being "the Oregon jerks". Ahh, coach d, if you're thinking this was nothing but hype, you only need to look to the home page of this site!

Perhaps two asterisks? I didn't turn 19 until I was a college sophomore.
Birthday January 6, 1993, which makes him 18(barely) math whizzes...
Wrong - he turned 19.

Easy sparky.....I'm sure Manzano is deep into his build up phase. LM could probably run 4:04 after a four month layoff - oh wait, he just did.

Guess again - he skipped his junior year.

I really, really dislike stupid people. Just saying. I also dislike misinformed people that try to act like they are informed. Just saying.
NO RESULTS IN THE TITLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 Freak, so much for watching this tomorrow.
He beat Manzano for christ shake.
How many of you shit talkers have run a 4:03 at all at any age? This kid is a senior in high school running 4:03 on an indoor track. That is f***ing impressive.
yeah, 4:03 high indoors in great for HS. He's at least good for 4:01 or 2 outdoors in a pro or college race at least.

Nope. He has already done something that Webb was not able to do. Win FootLocker TWICE. And how much faster was Webb at the indoor mile? Hopefully he can be a great 2M/5k runner.
In 2001 Webb ran 359 indoor, then 353 outdoor later in the year at Pre. So figure if Lukas competes at Pre or some other high profile outdoor meet, he can go from 403 to around 357.
jeeez what a pric khope he breaks 4 or hes gonna look really stupud
A lot of people beat Manzano

Which is it? He was born in 1993 or he skipped a year?
