http://www.runango.com/forums/forum_search.pl?words&user=shizzlehizzle&board=0&min&max&field=body&sort=time&order=descI've heard that Dr Kip Litton used to post here at this Runango forum up until the year 2008 under the name "shizzlehizzle."
if true, it's from this post
http://www.runango.com/forums/topic_show.pl?tid=168009#pid6116641Some interesting posts from what might be Dr. Litton back in 2004-2008....funny that in 2012 we did the guessing

We do a "guess my finishing time at Boston" pool at my business. Whoever is the closest gets $100. If their is a tie between one guess that's over and one that's under, the under wins of course. Some people ask questions to help make a more accurate prediction. Others are funny, seriously guessing under 2:20 or over 4 hours. Do you partake in any such bets or games?

I've run a "contest" for my last 3-4 marathons were I ask for predictions and I buy the winner lunch when I get back. I provide my profile to make it fair. It's a lot of fun. I'm curious, who puts up the $100? Is there an entry fee to play?

No entry fee. Since it is my business, I put up the $100. It's really just another excuse to reward employees. Happy employees makes for a great work atmosphere. Hence, regular office trips to Krispy Kreme & Cold Stone Creamery...

I got a good laugh today. Most of the employees have some running knowledge, if not from just entering the contest. I allow them to ask me questions. One new girl said, "I just have 2 questions- Is it longer than a mile, & do they make you run the whole way?"
NOTE to self: check to see if Litton's bib was 1999 in 2008 boston marathon?

Haven't posted in quite a while.
Well, by snagging bib# 1999 in what might be my 5th straight and last Boston, I not only got the last available slot in corral 1 (thank you to any from corral 1 that defered), but allowed me to check off my last (realistic) of a long list of running goals.
When does the Boston OCD weather post start?"

I guess that crazy effort in Beantown paid off...

I just use that as a professional name. I thought maybe my real name, Shizzle, might scare off some rap haters.

Didn't know you were in the Detoit suburbs. Lived (Farmington Hills) and ran there up until about a year ago. Put in a lot of miles at Kensington and Hines Drive. My dentist was Ronald Berris.
Life is short, live on the edge.

I'm very fortunate, I don't have to go anywhere for good running routes- I have 20 miles of hilly, desolate dirt roads right outside my doorstep. I don't recognize your dentist's name. Most of the people I hang with are not dentists- I find that for the most part they are odd ducks. Don't get me wrong- I'm not an anti-dentite! What took you out of Michigan & where are you now?

Sounds like he has a pretty good gig. Actually, I'm only a few miles from The Palace- very close to everything on one side, & ideal running on the other.
Speaking of the Pistons, a player whose name I won't disclose, just broke up my neighbors marriage. Through her rose colored glasses, she actually left her husband thinking it would last more than a few hookups... (which, of course it didn't).

It's do as I say, not as I do!!
I (unfortunately) have had a massive sweet tooth ever since I was a young boy. If I could control it, I probably wouldn't have started running. There is a local Dairy Queen type place that is owned by a friend that I go too at least once a day, sometimes more. My discipline for exercise is much stronger than my discipline to back off the sweets.
Don't tell anyone, but my favorite store is called "Sugar Buzz"!

Hey, I know a woman who is one of your patients! She said she didn't even know you were a runner until she saw the article in the paper. Btw, she said she was disappointed to find out that you were married.

Well, I really don't talk about it unless someone asks. What is her name? Let me guess... she's in her 60's and significantly overweight? Those types seem to fall for me hard!
