SOKLR: If the writer sent the emails to you, you don't need his permission to post them here.
I know that Kip cheated, but I'm starting to doubt that there is a writer since you and Scott Hubbard are so reluctant to give out even a glint of information.
Rojo says he might start a Kip Litton thread but only 1 and only 1 thread

I had no idea Rojo had testicular cancer. Sorry Bro. -
I'm beginning to doubt the intelligence of posters on this thread who in the earlier stages seemed to be quite bright. I don't understand how anyone with an average college education could believe any of these patently false excuses and explanations for the "delay" in the "story." I don't know why this particular aspect of this ruse is being perpetuated. It's perversely fascinating to watch, but incredulous at the same time.
Yes, Kip cheated numerous times.
No, there is neither an author nor an article.

Put up or shut up. Same goes for scotth. -
Time for Scott Hubbard to write the article himself and publish it in Michigan Runner.

I Understand It's pretty standard practice for there to be very thorough fact checking before publication, especially in magazine as big as this one. This process can take a fair amount of time even just for smaller more straight forward short paragraphs/notes. For an article detailing a serial marathon cheater, this process is much more extensive...This kind of thing is very time consuming and complex with the craziness and elaborative cheating scheme of the Kip Litton tale.
Even though it's been 18months since Kip last raced (Charlotte ThunderRoad), many of you are aware that he was registered for the 2012 Boston marathon, using Charlotte as a BQ. Many of us including the writer werent sure if he'd be running or not, but the point is you must realize that even as of this past April pieces of this story were still ongoing...I myself doubted there would be any article until the writer (a pretty famous one) first emailed me in Oct or Nov, 2011. I gave him my real name and phone when he emailed [email protected] with a legitimate [real name o magazine].com email address. We've been in contact via phone and email since then. -
People are allowing themselves to be trolled by Kip in various guises and thinking that a story in a magazine changes anything. The mountain of evidence in this thread doesn't need validation from a magazine.

Again, not me. Kip is getting very childish. -
Did Rojo grant you permission to copy and paste that email?

This isn't from the writer, but some communication with ROJO that goes way back to January, 2011.

"Good news guys! I just received an email from Robert Johnson (rojo) from LetsRun.com, in response to several repeat posts I'd made about the deletions (the "Rojo & Wejo - please read this..." threads). Anyway, here is what he said:
------
I was not aware that all of the Litton threads were being deleted. I think exposing his cheating is a good thing.
I have asked our moderator to not delete Kip Litton threads. That being said, I think there should only be one Kip Litton Thread. If my brother were in the country, i'd put back up the original thread. I have no idea who keeps posting them over and over. It's driving me nut.
Maybe I'l start an official kip litton thread.
Robert Johnson
Co-Founder, LetsRun.com"
This was my reply to him:
----------
Dear Coach Johnson,
Thank you very much for the reply. I don’t know you, but I had a suspicion that you might be unaware of what was going on. That was the only thing that made sense.
I agree with you about only having one main Kip Litton thread. I like the idea of you starting one. I’d suggest you mention that 1.) that you were unaware they were being deleted, and 2.) request that everyone keep it to that thread as much as possible. I imagine most people will respect your wishes. I know I certainly will. My guess is that the multiple threads/repeated posts was a direct result of people’s frustration from the deleted threads with no explanation. As soon as you post something to that effect, I bet much of the frustration goes away.
Maybe once your brother returns, you could put back up the original thread and just link to it from the one you start now? There was a TON of good research in that previous thread, and it would save people a lot of rehashing. Just a suggestion.
Anyway, thanks again for the followup. Please let me know if I can do anything, or if you’d rather me start the “official Kip Litton” thread.
All the best, -

Looks like you need to some fact checking yourself. Dr. Litton did not register himself for Boston and obviously never had any intent to run it.
You are correct that pieces of this bizarre story of creepy obsession by you and others is ongoing. That should be the basis for any article written about this episode. -

So you are claiming that someone blew $150 or whatever the entry fee is ? I think people forget that trolling is free, race entries aren't. -

A) You know this as fact because You are Kip Litton.
B) You know this as fact because you (a troll) paid $150 and entered Littons name.
C) You are blowing Sandusky smoke out your ass. -

it is hard to believe that the kipster would register for boston when he had not run in like 18 months, there was a huge active thread about him, and it was known that there was an article in a national magazine being written about him. -
I believe Kip indicated to some he would be racing 2012 Boston. So even if a troll paid 150bucks to register for it, Kip appeared to have some intention of actually running it

It might be hard to believe but someone throwing away $150 for no purpose at all is way harder to believe so the old Sherlock Holmes adage applies. -
so i guess it comes down to who threw the money away. kip or some troll. with all the scrutiny over his running in the past year it is more likely someone else registered for him. pretty logical.

It doesn't matter what is harder to believe. Dr. Litton did not register for Boston. It is not conjecture. It is fact. -

Yes. Yes, they do. I have it. Feel free to contact the BAA as well.
If there is a writer, I'm sure his/her fact checking will include this tidbit. Perhaps this is what is causing this massive delay in the release of the article. The writer is making a pivot and the focus will be on the obsession people have for this man. People spending countless hours pouring through race results and online photos, anonymous strangers making personal attacks against the man and his family, and the very scary nature of scotth going as far as creating a website about Dr. Litton and waiting in the bushes outside his office all day just to get a glimpse of him. -

I'm sorry, "evidence" doesn't mean claiming to have it, anyone can do that. When I have entered races that have a qualifying standard requirement I have had to provide documentary evidence of meeting that standard that wasn't a URL to race results. Why would race authorities have knowingly allowed a bogus entry? Why would anyone throw away $150 for no reason?
Do you have evidence aside from the claims of trolls here that anyone was waiting outside anywhere in bushes?
