I like to go for a run then have an energy drink and some greasy food. Also drink as much water and have a multi before bed.

Meth.
the three most common options i have encountered since being on a collegiate xc/track team are:
thenormally i do the whole wake up way before the sunday morning practice, shower, drink a bunch of water, go back to sleep, then wake up a bit before practice starts and head out for the run.
if i am incapable of this, usually about an hour into the run the hangover is gone and im just dehydrated, right around the time our coaches drive by and give us water, the last hour i feel like i have a second wind. haha.
i havent done this, but a few guys on my team have if they are really hungover, show up to practice on sundays then after about ten minutes into the run just run home, sleep and get out and do a long run later in the day.

any of you tried coconut water?
Coconut water works wonders at rehydrating you. I've used it as a recovery drink for the past few months. I haven't tried it as a hangover cure, but after a bowl it would be first thing I tried.
De-fizzed lemon-lime soda (7UP, Sprite, Sierra Mist, etc.) and baked pasta. My old dorm cafeteria's baked spaghetti was the best, but any cheesy pasta in red sauce (e.g. lasagna or leftover spaghetti) will do.
This is more in the way of prevention than a cure but if you have drinken wine or distilled hard liquor drink lots of water before bed,at least 32 oz, take two ibuprofen and an antihistamine. Should be one of the non-drowsy ones like Claritin, not a downer like benedryl. Lots of conigers and histamines in wine, brandy, and hard liquor like bourbon, hence the anithistamine. Water or Gatorade, as recommended by many, is to counteract the dehydrating effects of alcohol.
I will teach you boys some lessons today.
The ultimate cure if you get really hammered is to throw up the night before. After that drink some water, gatorade and eat some toast and eggs. Go to sleep and when you wake up you will feel fine.
Baked beans. I'm telling you, it's a miracle cure.
First one should drink a bit of water before going out or make shore you are properly hydrated before. Once you consume a massive amount of alcohol try to consume at least a bottle or two of water before passing out. If you pass out then drink water as soon as you wake up. Next you should go for a run its not about hammering the run. Its all about sweating. I live in the south a nice jog most of the time has me sweating like a beast. If you live in colder climates you may want to hammer it a bit. Lastly you should go back to sleep for a bit depending on how long you have I recommend at least 30 mins or more. If you have to throw up let it happen then follow with water will help the next day. Most recent experience for New Years, we drank quite a bit but was over a long span of time with food then had taco hell before going to bed and well about 5 am when I woke up for a bathroom break I also hurled everything up. So taco hell might help in causing your system to flush out the booze via the mouth. ;) I wish I had went for a run then took an hour nap after.I would have felt even better. I did not feel like running and paid the price as I just sat around the house all day doing nothing. Running, water and a nap really make a difference the next day.

If you're coherent at the end of the night, take down at least 32oz of gatorade or some other gatorade-like drink before you pass out. If you can't manage that, best bet is to just wake up and keep drinking while watching college football.
Good answer. I too grab Gatorade before I go to bed, and also take a couple of advil in the morning. works most rough nights.
Prickly pear juice five hours before you start drinking.
The cause of hangovers is congeners a molecular toxin that give beer its color and taste. Darker beers have more so thats why they are worse hangovers. Congeners cause inflamation of blood vessels and tissues which means hangover but prickly pear juice cancels out their effect on your body.
There is one fool proof remedy. Before you go to sleep hook up a saline drip. It only takes 20 minutes to absorb the fluids and you feel better than new the next morning. It really is amazing. For this to work properly, it helps to have a significant other that has some solid medical skills. It is not at all risky, but it is good to have someone who can find the vessel on the first try. I have honestly had 6 or 7 drinks for New Year's Eve (and I don't drink often and am 145 lbs.), been totally wasted and run a fast 10k on New Year's Day on very little sleep. The best part is how great you look and feel while your buddies are hurting and hurling in the morning!
be genetically superior to peeps who be gettin hangoverz! DUH! :P
Sex
Sleep
Gatorade
Sleep
Morning Run
Breakfast Tacos and Agua Frescas
In that order, like a fvcking champ
You get hangovers when you stop drinking. Armed with that information, you should know what to do. Charlie Sheen figured it out awhile ago.
Eat chocolate.
It won't really help with the hangover, but at least it makes your vomit taste better when it comes out.
Do a sheep in the field. That, my friend, will cure the hangover.
