why is it a double fall line?
why is it a double fall line?
Yeah. If you look at this image:
http://www.architizer.com/en_us/projects/pictures/3d-athletics-track/14695/112857/
Then look at google earth.
The 2 futbol fields are still brown in the google earth imagery, alongside the other 2 brown fields. But the building on the left side of the pic above the 2 futbol fields is easy to match up on the google earth image.

It looks like it could be quite useful. Plus, they have stands in between the hill and the regular track, so it's combining the stands with another feature. Looks interesting, is that in LA?
"is that in LA?"
Can any of you f***ing idiots read, for christssakes? It is in Spain. It was built this year.
Ok, where in the hell did anyone say it was in Spain? How the f*** was I supposed to know, you moron?
We know you got the location right. How did you find it?
Luck.

Did you get elected as their leader, or is Moron Pride Day the first day after a lunar eclipse?
http://www.architizer.com/en_us/projects/view/3d-athletics-track/14695/What section of L.A. is Spain in? I may be in Cali the first of next year and would like to see that track!!

Here's how he probably found it. In the link it gives the city "av puente de la libertad Elda, Spain." Actually, my Spanish isn't too great, that might be a street in a city in Spain which narrows it down even further. Elda is probably the city. Anyway, type that into Google Maps, zoom in to the third highest zoom and scroll down slightly. You can clearly see the four brown fields in that are in the back of the photo link posted by GPS User (http://www.architizer.com/en_us/projects/pictures/3d-athletics-track/14695/112857/). The streets line up too.
is it near Glendale wrote:

Well, about two centuries ago, Spain was at 15151 San Fernando Mission Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 91345.

That's exactly what I did. I saw the track (to the East), then realizing it wasn't the right one, zoomed out and scanned the entire city. Didn't see the dirt soccer fiends right under my nose. From the aerial view it sure looks like a tight fit (and right under an elevated freeway) in the lot provided.
Yeah, the track to the east was a red herring. I looked next for the 2 brown fields and found 4 of them. Lucked out.
Maybe it is for sprint drills. There is something similar at 1:17 on http://www.flotrack.org/videos/speaker/736-don-norford/336335-wow-with-long-beach-poly

Seriously. It looks terribly uncomfortable to run on.
What I find amusing are the mountains in the background....how about doing your hill work there?
There probably is a lobster phone in the locker room.
We have a track with a hill on it right here in Bellingham, WA.
Fairhaven Middle School. Open to the public!
