I can't relate to guys like Solinsky and Webb who had a cushy life. Webb grew up in Reston - one of the richest neighborhoods in the nation. Why shouldn't we doubt his motivations?
Manzano and German, on the other hand, have the same hunger/drive as Kenyans. They've been in the poor end of things where life was a struggle. They don't want to go back there.
As much as I like to root for the working class poor kids (cause I was poor and raised by a single mom most of my formative years), there are still guys like Lord Sebastian Coe who have killed everyone on the track. Some people are dandies or nancy boys but it doesn't mean they are not badasses because they grew up well off.
