That coverage was comically bad.

Runners are so annoying. You have no idea what you're talking about.
Hey Ernest, another Hall excuse maker...
What was today's exercise about?
Explain that to me, no one races less and does less competing than Hall, every time he goes out which is about 3-4 times max a year something good should happen, or at least 2-4 times.
At least Ritz puts it on the line once in a while...

Meanwhile, across the Atlantic, Geb runs 59:33 while also building up for a fall marathon. I hear he has had some success at distance running ...
Discover the science behind legendary performance
i think that's a very good result for Cragg, especially in light of some of his track troubles of late--is he planning a serious move to 13.1/26.2?
I was wondering the same thing about Boaz Cheboiywo. Is he currently training for a fall marathon? Maybe I just missed that somewhere.

It was mentioned in the commentary that a good result in today's race might lead to signing up for one.
Gotcha. Thanks.
That's gotta be a disappointing performance for Hall. And don't give me that time trial crap. He didn't fly across the country from Cali to Philly to get his ass kicked in a time trial. The man is obviously too competitive for such dog and pony shows.

Your joking right? Either your joking or your an idiot.
Sorry I'm angry and am in a bad mood. But someone who goes through 10k in about 15th place isn't on AR pace.
You're joking, right? You're Rojo, and you should know how to use these simplest of grammar rules.
This race is not Hall's focus; it's part of his build up to Chicago. Who knows if he'll do well at Chicago or not, but to use this race as the ultimate test of his fitness is a mistake.
Can anyone remember how fast Khalid ran at his half-marathons in month before he ran his fast times at Chicago?
I think rojo meant Hall wanted to run american marathon pace for the half, like 62:30 pace, for example.

Hall clearly wasn't running all out. A tempo? He could runn that time in his sleep, and if he wasn't in better shape than that, there's no way he wouldn't know. He sticks to his own plan and rarely lets "the public" (including letsrun) in on what he's doing. Some idiots may get angry at him for doing his own thing, but they're just insecure.
Unless, of course, I'm wrong and Hall really was running all out. I really doubt that, though... anybody know?
Just got back from the race. Was down there for a easy distance run. Hall was not going all out at all. I saw him at 10k and 20k and he was completely relaxed the entire time. Not a strain on his face. Ryan was well within himself.
Ryan Hall is like, 63:55...CHA-CHING!
Competitor must love it when he does this.
Um, Hall in houston looked like he was just doing a tempo run by himself as he cranked out a 59:43.
In London, the first time, he was with the leaders and even making a move after 20 miles.
Now, he's only got about 3 weeks? and there's no way he looked like he will be in better than 2:10 shape for Chicago. Hopefully for him he was training through, didn't taper and was only using it as a tempo run, because otherwise he needs to seriously reevaluate the coaching he's getting if he's going to have any chance at London.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
