This is worse than last year. Last year the stream was fine. The problem was that they went to a commercial about 100 yds from the finish line.

Stopped again. We should get 10 mile splits soon though.
over promise, under deliver
I almost think it would be better if it didn't stream at all, so I could just give up, instead of being stringed along to think I may get some video.
oh yeah i got a commercial!! this sucks. last year they went away to commercial at the finish. This year its frozen. i'm going back to bed
Geez. There can't be more than 50 people watching this. How little bandwith did they assign it?
just got a tweet.... Kisorio leading at 10 mi in 45:43, Genremariam 16 sec back. Main pack not in sight.
I'm pissed, this is garbage...
Hall clearly is running a time trial and not competing (don't blame him) anyway.

That's my fear with having a for profit company in charge of nearly every race in America.
I actually am impressed with the field they have in philly but then again to assemble a half-marathon field isn't that expensive.
Generally in their races they have one or two names and a weak overall field. I think fans of the sport need to be very vigilant on watching this. I'd much rather Mary and the NYRR run everything than competitor.
10 miles
Bib Name Time
10 Matthew Kisoro 45:42
3 Gebre Gebremariam 45:57
11 Peter Some 46:56
8 Simon Bairu 46:59
2 Abderrahim Goumri 46:59
6 Shawn Forest 47:08
39 Boaz Cheboiywo 47:12
9 Wesley Korir 47:17
14 Alistair Cragg 47:17
So im a college kid who got up at 7:45 to watch this. I partied till 3 am and am hungover like crazy, and still got up to watch this. And im rewarded with this quality stream. My luck

I mostly agree with you, but the field on both sides for this race is plenty deep, most likely because of all the people prepping for marathons. Too bad we can't see them!
Hall will be off AR marathon pace for this half.
They did say they would post the races up later on. it might just be time to go back to bed and wait until later to see the race unfold

Your joking right? Either your joking or your an idiot.
Sorry I'm angry and am in a bad mood. But someone who goes through 10k in about 15th place isn't on AR pace.

And that's different from normal how?
Agreed, it's concerning that their field sizes swell while entry fees continue to go up. Supply and demand will eventually bump those fees even higher (one would think).
But in a day in age when people are paying 60 bucks to run a 20 mile training run (free gatorade - wooo hooo) here in Chicagoland, the marathon craze is getting out of control.
This has truly become an industry.

Shalane and Kim look to be on a good pace.
