Cabada has and will continue to move around, it is in his nature to be a little impatient. But he still works hard and nobody should think otherwise. I enjoy following his antics and root for him to succeed.
Carney was never on the Harriers. He just lived in Boulder and trained on the same roads.
Ed retired.
Troop and Hartmann are great guys and I believe will remain friends of Jonesy's. No harm in looking for different coaching. Especially in Troopy's case, as he will end up being a coach himself. I was a little surprised by Hartmann living, as I thought he would be the one to flourish under Jonesy, based on his temperment.
The Slatterys also were part of the Harriers earlier this year, and again, I think they are are type of athletes who will prefer beating to their own drum. No problem.
Jonesy is still busy coaching Jorge, Fee and some runners who come in to town, like Freya Murray from Scotland.
BX is not the minor league affiliate. These club runners are why Jonesy is coaching in the first place. And now it is quite a large group of girls who run pretty darn decent and hold careers and are mothers, etc. And are improving fast at the same time.
There are a few of the original men left and a couple new guys. The goal was never to be a group of professional runners. That's too easy....
