    ECU = Ecuador. Other threads talked about him being a so-so 800 runner that ran in the olympics. Slow pace = kicker's race = a chance for the obscure dude from South America.

    I do know Bayron Piedra. He became south american champion last year august in Lima/Peru winning the 1500 and 5000 meters track events. He also won the 5000 and 10000 Meters later in November during the Bolivarianos Games in Santa Cruz/Bolivia in altitude. He is well known in south america specially for his ability having a fast finish.
