Potvin is injured and will be out for cross.
Last I checked your need 5 guys to score at all ...

That's too bad! What's his injury?
The Rusty Trombone (Russell Christie) is done.
X has lost #1-5.
one thing is for sure with the depth of these two teams and the recruiting classes they are getting the rivalry is going to continue for a long time.

Who's this Chiasson/Chaisson dude? Sounds like a killer!
sooo saturday is the first race right???
I think theres only two questions to be answered here:
who has the better B team , windsor or guelph?
and will windsor and Guelphs B teams go 1,2 ?
the first answer is a toss up, the second, in my mind is undoubtably yes.

Potty unfortunately was rewarded with a swift strike to his knee by a Volkswagen Beetle after a heroic attempt to help a young lady off the street.
what is this? windsor throws down hard in florida, getting all 5 scorers under 25 mins, while berkis wins it in 24:33, all this not including adam kellar (8th at cis last year, as second runner) and leaving matt sinclair... 3rd man this year in chicago ...off the bus...
soooo now all of a sudden windsor throws down something big on a legitamate 8km course (unlike paul SHORT 7.8km course guelph ran earlier) and now all the guelph supporters remain quiet...
maybe theyre starting to see the turning of the tide, and it's not in their favour.
yeah windsor looked mighty impressive in those 8k results, I'd love to see them take guelph!
I'd love to see them take down Guelph as well, but Windsor's team is mostly MD guys. Over 8km on a fast course, they might have a shot against Guelph, but over the last 2km on a tough 10km CIS course, I think that Guelph will have a distinct advantage. I hope I'm wrong though.

a shitface drunk young lady :P
Unfortunately guelph put their sixth man in front of of windsor's first at the western 10k.....
No offense but that course in Florida is a joke. Flattest, fastest xc course I've ever run. Also probably a little short based on the time I ran there vs. the times I ran the rest of the year.

What are you talking about?
Windsor won the Men's race at the Western International 10k over Guelph. Of course Guelph wasn't running their top guys at that meet...
haha yea ofcourse guelph wasn't and ofcourse windsor sat out a ton too.... and yes the florida course is very fast very flat, but the times r very similar to the paul short times from guelph, and paul short is a measured 7.8km ... regardless of how flat florida is...200m is a long way considering how flat and fast paul short is on it's own
I have also raced the disney course and yes it is flat as a pancake but not very fast due to sandy trails, uneven footing, hot and humid weather, and rocky / gravelly paths... What windsor did there is very impressive especially if you look at the past results.... Just saying

While I am impressed with Windsor's results and am hoping they can pull it out over 10km at CIS, you can't assume Kellar is in the same shape as he was last year at CI's. He was 14th overall in the race at Disney. He was 9th on the team, while still running faster than he did 2 years ago to take 3rd at the same meet. Impressive running by the Lancers....
Also I have to back up Guelph by saying they ran some decent times at Paul Short with the shitty, muddy conditions regardless of if the course was short or not.
