The point that Mikey made was that getting up after a fall and resuming running would lead to injury, I don't believe that to be true and I gave a couple of examples.
I guess they should have a section dealing with this issue at the USATF level II course, I've done 2 of them, endurance and sprints and don't recall this issue being addressed.
Mrr82 did not say it would lead to injury. He said there was no point risking an injury at that point in a race if it wasn't for a medal. There's a difference between level of risk/likeliness, and something being definitive.
This race was for time, he fell, and he dnf'd. I don't think any of us real runners would argue that it's not much more likely to get injured if you fall late in a race, at a maxed out pace, and get right back up and try to go on.
You are obviously a troll who has no real times to your name other than some slow college times, and have some obsession with Mrr82. It's also a bit creepy that you keep calling him Mikey. If you're going to use his name, just say Mike.
