Mrr82 did not say it would lead to injury. He said there was no point risking an injury at that point in a race if it wasn't for a medal. There's a difference between level of risk/likeliness, and something being definitive.
This race was for time, he fell, and he dnf'd. I don't think any of us real runners would argue that it's not much more likely to get injured if you fall late in a race, at a maxed out pace, and get right back up and try to go on.
You are obviously a troll who has no real times to your name other than some slow college times, and have some obsession with Mrr82. It's also a bit creepy that you keep calling him Mikey. If you're going to use his name, just say Mike.
