After hearing about it through the grape vine and scanning through variant articles, I finally decided to take up minimalism a couple weeks back. I've started running in the Nike Free 5.0 for about two weeks now, as well as barefoot runs in the grass for about 5 minutes or so every day. I'm still wary about the transition, so I'm unsure as to where I go from here. I'm only running about 10 miles per week and running every other day (increasing the mileage in 10% increments each week) since I'm in physical therapy and am trying to come back from injury, so I'm positive that the process is going to take even longer than normal. I guess what I'm trying to get at is this: What other things should I incorporate to make the process more efficient, and when should I start switching to flats or neutral shoes even lower to the ground (naming recommendations would be nice).
