That was a hell of a run for Solinsky. He's had an amazingly long and productive outdoor season. Did Rupp drop out? If so, what the hell?
The race did not have proper certification
Rupp thought this really WAS the Stockholm 500m, so he quit.

Seriously Rupp was right there, looking good to break 13, and then all of a sudden he was gone.
Solinsky just needs a ripshit last 100 now and he'll be in the mix for any 5,000 he enters.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz.
Boring, move on.
1 Merga 12:52
2 Kipcoge
I think anyway but was to busy concentrating on Solinsky. I got 12:55.32 to be exact
Mike Eps ... try going to a African based running website if you want the African results posted first....... but they won't have them posted till next week.
But if you insist on going to an American based website then maybe you'll have to take the American based interest into account.
Rupp looked like he was having a hard time coping with the erratic surging. The pace was all over the place. Chris could have broken the AR if the pace was mroe consistent. he looked so good - could have even run 12:52 maybe.
That was awesome, but yeah that was weird with Rupp. One second hes just behind the lead pack, quick switch to javelin, and hes gone. Wonder why he dropped out.
Also I wish I understood Swedish, sounded like they love Solinsky, every second word was Solinsky for the whole race. Compared to english announcing "durrr some solinsky guy set a PB we guess..." (in previous races this season).
I agree, but I'm not sure he has the tools for that. He'd be better off trying to kick from further out and take away the others' wheels.

In fairness to Rupp, Solinsky dropped out of Brussels last year late, too.
Well after his 1:56 closing 800 in the 10k I'd have to agree.

Typical prissy boy Rupp. Bitches out when the going gets tough, can not compete at the highest level, can only beat up on college kids years younger than him. He sucks and is an embarassment to America. And btw no I am not faster than him but I would rather have someone slower but more of a real man represent America.
please - let it go he is a great runner and your a fool - way to go Chris great run

Rupp was one of the youngest at the NCAA Championships of 08/09.
