Looking for truly dedicated runner:
Hi, I am a new coach and I have had success with the few runners I have had the privilege of working with. I have helped a few DII runners that couldn’t seem to progress under their coaches.
I currently am coaching only two runners. One has been with me for just over two years; and the other since January. The first is a woman age 40. When we started she ran a 5k @ 30:12 Her last 5k @ 23:57 and her 1st 10k @ 47:20 (I estimate her 10k @ about 45:30- :39 right now)
Her success is due largely to her sticking with the program more so due to her dedication to training over the last two years (she has PR’d in all but one or two races in the last two years).
Now I am looking to coach a runner at a slightly higher level in order to refine my methods.
About my coaching:
1. I believe coaching is an equal partnership or it will never succeed.
2. Life happens, changes need to be made, the runner above goes on vacations and can’t always runs, she get sick, work gets over whelming and sometimes she just doesn’t have it in her to run at certain points for whatever reason(s). Through all this she has managed to stay on track even with un-scheduled time off needed.
What I am looking for:
A runner who is dedicated, not a head case, between the ages of 20 & 40, willing to put in at least one year, can follow agreed upon directions, and has had some success in the past looking to go to the next level of running. Must be 5k and up on the roads. Not looking for track athletes. Exceptions can be made on the track athlete depending on their level. (Not willing to coach steeple via internet as I was a steepler and believe a coach needs to be present).
What you receive is FREE coaching for one to two years and new PR's.
