Back From 3 Month Doping Ban, Anna Alminova Dominates Russian Champs (4:00.84)

Im surprised she even qualified to run. How are they selected to compete? Do they run a country-wide track meet to decide the best or do they just choose who ever gives them the best publicity?

I am glad to hear she is back; I think you need to be punished even for a stupid mistake, but it shouldn't end your career. Btw, the Russian ladies have a history of ruuning times in their champs that they can't seem to repeat.

I thought Pseudoephedrine was off the IAAF doping list now? I know its off the WADA list - just check its been put back on the IAAF list in 2009. I'll have to make sure any of my athletes in future don't accidently take 50 bottles of Sudafed!
