With those extra advantages, I think the old school guys would be right up there.
Talent levels are the same. Modern training knowledge, technology and resources are better.
I would never bet against Liquori, for one. McChesney, et.al. were certainly great. Yeah, they might be right up there with modern resources, but what we've got is Solinsky, and he's been damn impressive.
