This is amusing, and I do run in the MAC. What's funny about all of this is the fact that some people need to justify there "greatness" in order to fullful some vendetta against a conference whom since I've been in, hasn't really been known to talk trash, but only seems to be receiving more national recognition overall when it comes to sports as a whole.
Let me ask, because since you are talking about the MAC you are inadvertently talking about me; have I ever knocked you? Honestly, it means nothing to me what any of the big 10 schools accomplish, or "Malone" or any other D3 school for that matter. Why? Because a runners main concern should be to worry about 2 things (at this point in their career) and that is getting better, while offering their best effort in contributing to the team.
Stop the cowardly insults, and realize that a "division" isn't what makes a runner great, it's a coach, a runners determination, THE LIST GO'S ON. You think there are some D3 schools better then the MAC? Cool, but let me ask, who gives a flying fu^k? I surely don't, and in reality, it shouldn't matter to any of us competing right now. When I compete, I don't look at the teams and think "Hmph, he's from Malone, but there NAIA, so it must be a shitty runner" - Absolutely not, and why again? Because whats the different, either way your going to a)find out just how good they are anyways and b)RACE THEM.
So if you must, yap away, but just know 1 thing, when I toe the line against you, I'm not worrying about your division, I'm worried about winning, regardless. Grow up
