In Matt's book "Brain Training", he highly recommends "minimialist" shoes, and says he has trained in Nike Frees 3.0, 4.0, 5.0, and Vibram Five Fingers, for reducing running injuries, and in part blames today's modern "specialist" shoes for running injuries and poor performance. The referenced article was about "barefoot" running, and not "minimalist" shoes (which would cover the bare foot, making it no longer bare).

Does anyone know what shoes Matt Fitzgerald runs in? Does he run? Has he ever tried minimalist running shoes?
Don't knock it if you haven't tried it!
Matt's just another talking head cashing in.
