Nice try, you'll note (or maybe you won't since you are light on brains) that I was not the only one to post those initial results.
IF the timers had done their job professionally, no probs, BUT if Puskedra really had left it to 2/10ths of a second between himself and 13th, then yeah, it would be time for a sit down with his coach about not leaving things that close.
A "sit down with the coach," is a meeting for some encouragement and strategy discussion.
That is not a troll attempt.
The crap flung at Acosta, troll attempts.
I, like others, wish Puskedra well.
But if it had been 2/10ths of a secundo in a 10k! That would have been wild and enough reason for his coach to sit down with the former top ten NCAA XC finisher and see what's up.
You guys need to think about the meaning of the OP's post. So what if he only qualified by .2 or 2 seconds. The point is that he was 12th... aka the last qualifier. For a guy who was 5th (i'm pretty sure?) at NCAA XC as a frosh this is not good. It is especially not good when you compare it to how well he has been doing for this whole year. I have no idea what the issue is and my point isn't to bash puskedra but to start conversation about what is going on, or about how to fix this. That is what this forum was designed for. For serious discussion about running and elite runners.
It seems that you and the other trolls on this board (ie Get Real Real) are not much interested in Luke's welfare, but rather in your own agendas. REPEAT, Luke has been suffering from a digestive problem for a good part of the season. His inability to match last season has been because of that issue, nothing more.

For those out there who really give a damn about Luke's well-being (trolls excluded), he has apparently finally found some relief for in digestive problems but regaining his strength won't happen overnight. I think most of us wish him the best, and perhaps he will have a good showing at NCAA's in two weeks. Fortunately, he did qualify out of Regionals, so things are looking up for Luke.

Yeah...but you were the only troll who immediately jumped on anyone because of those incorrect results.
I want to ask the same question as a guy on the last page...what happened to the Arkansas guys? All 3 were sub 29:00 guys coming in, all in the top 10 in the region...and none of them even finish? What the hell has happened to them since Stanford? Bad coaching? Too much rest? They even didn't do that bad at SEC's...something is up.
"Can anyone provide some insight?"
-being at the meet, they all looked horrible. the african hog was at the front for 3-4 laps at the beginning, began to hold his right side, then quickly fell off. the other two just couldn't hold even the moderate pace being run and quickly fell off. very sad to see. arkansas was once a proud distance school. in fact, the last time i was in austin was the ncaa championships years ago where i saw cragg run the tall kid from arizona into the ground (lagat's brother?).

Depends how fast the observer was moving. Time and space are relative, d-bag.
Actually, the space between Puskedra and Krause at the line would have been about one meter, if they were going at 5.6 m/s.. with .2s difference, dbag.
bump for mac fleet not getting as lucky......
totally unacceptable for indoor mile runner-up to not make it to nationals in the 15 2 months later...
Puskedra has bowel problems and Mac Fleet was eating the poo!
