Wendy Pavlus is running incredibly well. Wow.

It's really fantastic to see the NESCAC kids running this fast with the conference meet coming up tomorrow.
They've got 2 autos in the 1500 (Cole and Yochum), 2 autos in the 5000 (Faller and Kamm), and 2 autos in the 10000 (Murner and Faller).
Lee Berube and Pete Manktelow (Brockport) provo at Geneseo Invite. Manktelow 3:52, Berube 3:53.
too bad allegheny's dipre is redshirting, his 3:49.65 at hillsdale would put him #1 on the outdoor list right now
Berube got OWNED in that race.
Looks like not much (in the way of quality marks) came out of that UAA meet. I'm guessing the weather was poor--the fields were certainly pretty high quality...
SCAC had a pretty hot 1500, Number 3 in the nation Brainerd(3:50.97 xc AA) Vs. Number 6 in the nation Armstrong (3:52.75 DMR AA)... Not to mention Brush (1:51 AA) and Deitrick who was an indoor 800 qualifier...
Watched this nasty one unfold. Brainerd took the lead early with Armstrong but pace slowed and the second pack nearly caught up with 300 left. Armstrong went with 300 left and clocked just under 44 last 300... me thinks brush was around 42high...
1 Armstrong, Chass Trinity (Tex.) 3:54.71
2 Brush, Zach Trinity (Tex.) 3:55.54
3 Wagner, Andrew Colorado College 3:55.95
4 Brainerd, Jackson Colorado College 3:56.36
5 Dietrick, Chris DePauw 3:58.48

he lost by 1 sec?
the weather was real bad, 10ks in the morning must have had over 90% humidity, the wind and humidity got so bad there were tornados day 1 and gale force winds day 2, those times are not a measure of those kids abilities

I figured it had to be something like that. Too bad--with better weather, those fields should have produced a passel of national qualifiers.

Berube was not "OWNED" in that race.
Guarino 4:07.95 mile at Penn. Should convert to 3:49.55.

Yeah but Pavlus has a near auto in the steeple and the 5K as well. Will be interesting to see if she tries to triple at Nationals like Garrahan from Amherst did a few years back...
Pavlus is a cutie, but her mom's a real MILF
Tryin the triple would be nuts against the quality out there this year.
