I always thought these threads were fun so I thought I'd try my own. Try and predict my indoor mile time. I'm male and in my early 20s. All distance runs are at 6:10-6:40 pace.
Sample training weeks in the last 2 months:
Sun 15 miles
Mon off or 5 miles
Tue 10 miles (5 mile tempo in ~25:30 on treadmill or track)
Wed AM: 5 miles PM: 10 miles
Thu off or 5 miles
Fri AM: 5 miles PM: 10 miles
Sat 12 miles
~70-80 mpw
Sun 15 miles
Mon 10 miles
Tue 10 miles (12x400m in ~65 with 1 min rest)
Wed 10 miles
Thu 10 miles
Fri 5 miles
Sat RACE (total = 10)
~70 mpw
