And how many of us can say we have hundreds of millions of dollars? To TW giving $3 million is the same as many of us giving $20. I'm sure if we were as wealthy as him we could send a little bit more aid.
Tiger's net worth is $600M according to Forbes. So pretend your net worth is $500,000 (median net worth at time of retirement is ~$600K) and it would be more like you giving $2500, not $20. Way to be a dumbass.
What the big deal ?
The Mobile Hospital has been parked out back of his pad just in case something else goes down. All must be cool at home so he can let it go.
EMT's ? Maybe , or just maybe its some of his booty call making thier way down to Haiti to help the relief workers chill a little if you know what I mean...
Cash ? Tax deduction , his tax people have looking for something with some PR value...
I am Nat Turner. And ,you're no Nat Turner .

If you have $600 million, you could give away 99% of your money and still live a very comfortable life with 6 million in the bank.
If someone with $500,000 gave away 99% of their money, they would become a hobo.
ummm...the difference is... wrote:

you see, this is why you aren't rich.
and how much money has anyone in this thread donated?
People who use the logic of "well he has tons of money so it's not that big of a deal" are morons. Yes, he has lots of money but he was worked damn hard to get that money. The same way people criticize Oprah and say "oh well if I had billions like her I'd give it away." Well then make some money and do it. Until you have their kind of money and give away more don't say anything. And I'm sure if you had his kind of money you wouldn't criticize him for giving 3 million.
How much do you expect him to give? 20 million. And then in a few weeks/months when something else comes that is worthy of donations would you like him to give another 20 million?
He has that money because he worked hard and didn't throw it away. That is not to say that this would be throwing money away but there is only so much you can do at each time.
Hey dumbass, I am 23 years old and nowhere near retirement. So yes it would be like many of us (including myself) giving $20. You also clearly missed the point that he is loaded and $3 million to him is nothing. Crawl back into your hole.
at 23 I was making at least 50K a year, you need to stop being a lazy fatass.
Tiger gave triple what the COUNTRY of China did.
Correction, what the "government" of China donated.
Of course, China could say that the cash the US government donated was borrowed from them!!!
No, they couldn't. It was printed. Or created out of thin air, as they saying goes. The Chinese are done making loans to us.
What's Dick Cheney doing for the victims?
How much did he pay his girlfriends to keep quiet?
My guess is probably more than $3 Million.
I am not impressed with Cheetah.
HOW MUCH DID ANY OF YOU GUYS ON HERE GIVE?
I gave $50 to UNICEF via Google Checkout. I usually keep my (admittedly meager) giving very local, but for the Haiti earthquake and the south Asian tsunami, I made an exception.
Now, friend, what did YOU give? Not that anyone needs to give a damn thing to have an opinion, but, in your case, I'll make another exception.

It's the perfect tax write off for him. Never waste an opportunity on a crisis .
unless it's given to charitable org, it's not tax-deductible //// also it's limited to 50% AGI

... and how much did you donate? Work your ass off, make a billion dollars, and give more than $3M to a disaster relief fund. It's easy to say you'd give away tons of money when that money doesn't actually exist.
