Doubtful. ADs' and Head coaches don't let this info out especially so far out in advance.
Call me crazy, but a potential recruit doesn't like hearing that their coach is leaving.
AU... bring back Coach G. Have the admin say they are sorry, and promise to never, ever, EVER do that again.

Brown = mess
Bored and looking for husband #3
Why Mizzou? Are the distance coaches leaving?
If rita is seriously looking for husband #3, I'd like to apply.
Not worth the pain...
Not sure if the preggers weight left or not, but that would be some great "pain"!
What is going on with Brown specifically? I just had one of my top runners commit to Brown
Since Ivy League does not have athletic scholarships I assume your athlete did not sign a National Letter of Intent.
Therefore there is no legal binding to the verbal commitment.
anyone know anything about the SUNY Oneonta job? I am originally from syracuse and may be interested in applying to move closer to home. Does anyone know anything about the running/training environment in Oneonta? From what I know, the team has not been great in the past. Whats holding them back? Is it a good or at least decent school academically?
The job is essentially a division of their admissions office. "We hope you are successful but in the end, just bring in 30 new kids each year and you'll keep your job." It's the same thing they did up at Adrian College in Michigan a few years ago. The school is pumping money into athletics with the stipulation that the teams bring in bodies. They are tuition driven. Have fun with that.
Well that is true, but they sent him a letter that he could sign saying that he would be on the team or they would have a spot for him...sort of a nice gesture and a way for the school to get together and celebrate his hardwork
I would like to know the situation at Brown as well....who has the inside scoop? What could Lake have done to get canned...she is a female and it is mid-season. What gives?
She still wants the OSU women's job!
OSU women aren't doing a thing according to the Big 10 performance list in the distance area (the overall whole track team doesn't look much better).
Regardless, Dennis will be there until she herself decides to retire and her staff will stay intact for as long as they want to be there.
