I'm looking for a low tech neutral trainer that has decent cushioning (espacially in theforefoot) and it pretty flexible in the forefoot. I don't want or need all kinds of bells and whistles.

The Harmony is nice.
Wow. It looks like someone bought all of Etonic's leftover raw material inventory from the 80's and decided to make shoes out of it.
i like the mizuno precision
Nike Pegasus is the most neutral shoe on the market. Not sure about its flexibility though.

I never seen those. What's the weight on those?
They're not particularly light, but I didn't care much about that. I stopped using them once they ran out of my size. I used them for about 3 years and absolutely loved them. Cheap, free shipping, no frills.
The Pegasus isn't very flexible.
Second the mizuno precision
Mizuno wave rider 12 or nike zoom victory+ especially.
I can give you number for the lady I work with. She has me mostly lifting rocks, very low tech! Her feet are nice and fat too. She's pretty much down the middle but does sometimes ring a cowbell to indicate the end of a session.

Any other suggestions? I haven't had a lot of luck with Mizuno.
Mizuno Precision or the new Brooks Launch I think is really nice.
Nike Terra TC
A simple flexible neutral trainer.
Nike Free 5.0 seems obvious. I think it is pretty simple shoe, very flexible and fairly well cushioned. May be hard to find but the new Nike Free Run should be available early 2010.
asics cumulus 11
The Pearl Izumi Streak is just a hair under 9 ounces, very flexible, low to the ground, and lasts a LONG time, even with lots of miles on roads. The upper is really nice too.
Nike Free 5.0, the bomb
The Nike Free 5.0 is a as stiff as a board. It is supposed to be a racing flat. It weighs more than the Nike Free 3.0.
