Yea, the info said the after award party would go from 6 - 9..... I am sure they didn't want to have to deal with the problem they had in Cincy....so I had a few beers there and just went across the street to a bar for more....
Nice photos - RunOhio
I want to go on the record here to thank everyone involved in making these club championships happen. All the organization, officiating, and hospitality, were first rate. I and the Greater Boston Teams want to express our appreciation for a jog well done.
Tom
I meant to type job well done. The jog word only applied to my race...

How do the top club teams stack up against the top NCAA D1 teams?
The top club teams would win DI. I'm talking Hansens, McMillan, Zap - the teams where you get financial support. Look at Zap Fitness's resume:
Jankowski - 8:05/14:08 road/28:27
Nightingale - 3:43/7:57/13:42
Morgan - 3:40/7:54/13:27/22:36 8k road
Peck - 3:48/14:00/23:52 8k
Polk - 3:46/14:03/29:28
These guys are professionals, they should win. And it's awesome that these groups exist for sub-elites.
If you're talking about the teams that are made up of working guys, that gets more interesting. Even with a team sponsorship, you're not talking about much more than free shoes and some race entry comps. Those guys have more responsibilities (family, job), fewer perks (coaches, travel, medical), and they're older (in a bad way) than DI athletes. Could be fun to dig up some recent times for one of those top teams to compare. Are any of the teams in the club nationals top 5 filled with regular guys?
Aggies (4th open men, 3rd open women) are all "regular".

The NYAC team are all "regular" too - working full-time jobs in NYC and balancing running. Too bad Cate Robbie couldn't score because she lives in NJ.
True...their women would have been 3rd if she scored and only a couple points off of 2nd.
Another sad taser story -http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/local_news/stories/2009/12/14/stun-gun.html?sid=101
When are the rules going to come into the 21st century so an athlete who actually is on a team, has competed for said team for over 3 years in many races, has a twin sister on said team, has a husband on said team and lives within 50 miles of said team's headquarters can score for said team at usatf events?
Any Race Photos??
I uploaded some yesterday on spear.smugmug.com

All of the Boulder Running Company/Adidas guys are "regular" and they gave ZAP a pretty good run.
And the BRC/adidas girls are also regular. All of them work full time (Moody included) and still put the miles and races in.
It's nice to know so many teams are regular. Once they become masters teams that's going to be really important.

Add Rosario and they will be looking to do some damage..
Ha ha ha - this is too funny. They must have picked the wrong race to peak for since only 1 got under 31min - and Rosario is all over the place training wise and always coming up with injuries, if he can ever get and remain healthy and train smart he could perhaps put together something (based on what he posts on his training log)....till then, lots of talk but just not the same Rosario from years past which is a shame.
Only 3 of their 4 ran clubs....1 of who ran faster, the other 2 much much slower....maybe they should have had the other guy run
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
