I did a workout the other day...
8X1200 with a 1 min rest, each 1200 was at 3:59 (roughly 5:19 mile pace).
What do you think I could do for a 5k?
I know this is asked many times over but I would appreciate the input.

I've ran 4 mile tempos at 5:28 pace, so that 17:15 would make no sense because 17:15 5k is slower than 5:30 pace.

You're off by at least 3/10ths, because there's no way he runs slower than 15:53.49.
I don't think 15:30-:40 is too big a stretch; definitely well sub-16.
