only if you have absolutely sense of perspective in the sport or knowledge of gouchers career...
so a refresher
goucher ran 13:11 fresh out of college, made an olympic/world championship team, won short and long at USA cross, then went through the tougest, most frustrating 5-7 year period of any top USA runner in recent memory
he came back at the end of his career with a new coach, woke up to run a 13:10 PR in, pred again the next year to run 13:10.00, made a world championship team the next year, and came back in 08 to try to make another olynpic team
then in 09 he struggled (and in my opinion he probably wont be back in 2010)...if one bad year is all you can remember of adam goucher after all that, the on behalf of the sport of track and field it would be best for everyone involved if you stopped paying attention
