Probably not. Most people don't scroll down that far.
Maybe they had the flu that week.

see what jeff see ran at pre nats?!!?!?
Your obsession with Jeff is pretty ridicilous. Chirst - lay off or come out of the closet! Get over him!!!
Serious now. wrote:
Ok.
1-Mead
2-Miller
3-See.
If See gets top 3 I'll eat my hat, shit it out, and eat it again.
See ran at EMU today 15.03 for a 5k. Most Def. I don't know if the course was fast but Donny Roys should be a top freshman. I think OSU has a chance to win it.
I was at race. They looked very srong. Maybe just the flu at Prenats? However, there is ZERO chance to win. Itd be great to finish 4th.
Ohio State has no chance to win it despite the weak year. They are worse than Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, and possibly Iowa and Michigan State.
Jeff See has not done anything close to show that he could contend for the title this fall.
Hassan Mead is a great runner but didn't look all that strong/dominant at Pre-Nats. But he's still the safest pick.
I predict Wisconsin's youth will show and IU will win. They have some serious talent over there on their roster! Track team stinks; looks like they're going to really focus on cross.
The Sam Bell results were very average. Running what looked like a time trial (Purdue was 2nd!), Iu had a 50 second spread and winner only ran 25:01.
WISCONSIN WILL HAVE 5 IN TOP 12 AT BIG TENS.
Michigan
IU
Minnesota
Iowa
OSU
MSU
PSU
ILLINI
PURDUE
Everyone is pointing out a lot of obvious choices, but maybe some darkhorses could be Thode from Iowa who is running great and Peacock from Wisconsin who is coming on well again. Mead is a good choice and See is a great 1500 guy, but I think the two I just mentioned will be there as well.
The times looked average because the course is already very difficult (about 45 seconds slower, over 8k, than ISU's course), and it had been raining for two weeks. It's hilly with bad footing, and mud only makes it less fun. Running sub 24:50 in perfect conditions will get you All Big Ten there, so to run 25:00 with no competition in bad conditions is a pretty solid result.
Include Bridget Franek, PSU in individual contenders.
A bit off topic, but related: Who do you expect to be on the rosters (8 runners/team for Big 10 Meet) for any of the top teams like Wisco, IU, Minnesota, and Michigan?
Wisconsion
Indiana
Michigan
Minnesota
Ohio State
Iowa
Michigan State
Purdue
Illinois
Penn State

I'm afraid your wrong there. IU's course may be harder than ISU but 45 seconds is overkill. It's a course where you can build a lot of momentum during the race. I personally think it is very overrated on difficulty, and I'm not very impressed at all by IU's performance there.
I dont think that was all of Indiana's "A" team.
You're allowed 9 at Big 10 meet.
I think Wisco will roll with:
Peacock
Miller
Darling
Bolas
Krause
Connor
Gasper
Thomas
Bateman
You could possibly substitute Ahmed for Bateman if Mick removes his redshirt.
Watch out for Thode.

Alas, I must disagree on the momentum claim. The course has bad footing and tons of 90 degree turns, many of which are also inclined coming into or out of, and are slanted; the only way to maintain pace is to speed up and swing wide, which means you only cancel out the turn, without getting anything from it. Doubtless it varies runner to runner, but my experience has been as described.
Ok Minnesota:
Mead (1st)
Barrett
Blankenship
M. McFarland
Gagnon
Olson
Hilsen
Burkstrand
J. McFarland
