I have the KSO's too. I tried doing a few easy miles on the track with them and I liked the way they felt, but I got a minor blister on the bottom of my big toe. I'm not used to running without socks, that was probably the issue. Since I'm in the middle of a marathon training cycle I didn't want to risk another blister, but I'll definitely give them another go after the race.
Two days ago i ran 21k and some, in approx 1h33mins on the "earthy" outsidest lane at the track, in the Classic model, no socks. Hot day, feet were starting to heat up a little. Overall fine; still i like to wear some sandals right after for "recovery".
I do 10% of my weekly mileage, between 5 & 7 miles, either completely barefoot or in the 5s. I got a ton of crap when I tried to introduce this to a small but obstinately vocal slice of the Omaha running community last year. Now that they are "mainstream" they are ever so well received. At 52 I'm well over 2000 miles for this year, I attribute the strength in no small part to building myself from the ground up.
I've got 2 pairs of the sprints. I go back and forth to them depending on how much I have to run on concrete. If I do too much in them on concrete I feel like I'm bruising the second metatarsal large bone on the ball of my left foot. (pardon if I've got that wrong, I don't know foot terminology) But I'll go out for a good 6 mile trail run every week or two. I love 'em. As a side note I spent a week on vacation and did nothing but sit on a dock fishing and got a funny tan of a strap across the top of my foot from them. :)

Why don't they call them Vibram Five Toes?
I'm glad you're all happy while running in them, because to the rest of us you look dumb as hell.
LOL

How does the sizing run on these? If I was to purchase a pair on the internet, should I buy the same size as my training shoe? No stores in my area seem to carry the VFFs.
You actually measure your feet. I have very wide feet and mine fit great despite that. It talks about the measuring on the website order form.
90% of my running (40mi/wk) is barefoot (grass and sand) but vibrams are good for trails.
Any of you guys have problems getting your toes to fit? I tried on a couple of sizes and the webbing of my pinky toe was getting practically stabbed by the fabric in all of them.
Don't miss the Vibram Five Finger Discount special this weekend!
Good stuff.
