That doesn't pass the smell test. Hansons has suffered massive losses in the past year and stands to lose Sell, Rizzo, Humphrey(maybe more, I can't remember) this year. Along with injuries for Verran and Snyder the cupboard is pretty bare. My guess is your personality, goals or training background were a bad fit.
Not sure how many people McMillan coaches but you'd think he should be able to find 100 people to support this. $100 is not much money. Just think it's kind of false advertising. Only a few of their athletes have any legitimate hopes of Olympics for the US. The job they did of peaking for the US Champs was awful, I couldn't see being a good collegian and going there after watching them suck it up in Eugene, Beijing and Berlin. If they get rid of Andrew Middleton that would be some money freed up right there, since he doesn't even race, and they've kicked out bunches of athletes over that period. Great job to Brett Gotcher at New Haven though. Will be interesting to see him debut in the marathon.

Hansons said that they have added 2 women and 2 men and they don't like to add more than 4 a year. I honestly don't believe that they see me as a bad fit. They even said that they have plenty of room in the houses and that there will be a few others leaving at the end of the calender year but that adding more than 4 a year is too much.
McMillan Elite just said they were full without an explanation. Not that they owe me one.
I may just stay at home and reapply next year.
Just looking for options.
