You are a Chicken Hawk coward and a true GOP hypocrite like Giuliani, Cheney, Toby Keith, etc. We know your type. You whoop it up, yell "kill them towel heads", and then hide behind the American flag and let others fight and die in your place.

Don't let me stop you from jumping to conclusions, but what gave you the idea that I am American, let alone a 'true GOP hypocrite'?
Contrary to your assertion, you don't know my type because I am none of the above.
But thanks for avoiding the question with your meaningless slagging.
Back up your brave talk guy. Call 1-800-MARINES. Let us know when you ship out to Afghanistan.
What messages are you reading? Where are you getting the impression I'm going on with 'brave talk'? And why are you unable to understand the line where I said I am not an American? Any chance you'll actually answer the original question I asked?
To think that some foreigners actually wonder about the intelligence of Americans...

I’m pretty sure that 57% of Americans have forgotten, or never knew that Russian troops entered Afghanistan in 79 to support the existing government, who were as least attempting to bring Afghanistan into the 20th century.
That government were a pretty ruthless lot, but they needed to be to fight off the power of fanatical Islamists.
They managed to introduce such improvements as a health car system, rule of law and an educational system open to all - including females.
Pictures of Kabul at that time show the women actually walking about dressed normally - bare-headed, with hardly a burqa in sight.
Of course, the Americans couldn’t leave it at that and proceeded to arm the mujahdeen and the Taliban to the teeth - and they eventually wore the Russian forces down in a seemingly unending and un-winnable war - and so they withdrew losing about 14,000 dead.
What goes around, comes around it seems.
Hah hah. You've been nabbed. Figures. You are another typical chicken hawk coward like Rush Limbaugh and Bruce Willis.

God told Bush not to volunteer his kids, nor the kids of his siblings, relatives, and friends, for the stupid ass war he started in Iraq and Afghanistan.
these are good points.
god doesn't tell anyone to go to war, right wing fundamentalist bullshit - that's all that is.
can anyone find a way to lower Cheney down into the middle of Kabul without a weapon? He is the worst chicken hawk I've ever seen...how did it come to be that he thinks he is an expert on national security anyway?
take his fat Lynn with him, and his bitchy wife....
Thanks for showing your true American colours - complete self-centeredness and inability to understand and answer a straightforward question while continuing to spout overused and disproven cliches.
yeah and the other 43% don't know the war is even going on.
You'll always be a pussy. Your dad knows. Your brother knows. Your running buddies know. You can still redeem your manhood though. Call 1-800-MARINES. They'll beat your brains in then send you to Afghanistan. Let us know when you get there.
The worst thing that happened in Iraq was capturing and killing Sadam. We are stuck with troops in there now because otherwise it would be revolt there.
And what's the "Messiah" doing? Escalating the war, that's what. Where is your venom for him, you big phony?Don't you also want to send him and his bitchy wife into the middle of Kabul as well? You're a freakin' hypocrite.

No shit. I'm utterly disappointed in that Uncle Tom Negro named Barack Obama. He's the Bush III we all feared we would get with McCain as prez.
It is not so much of a war... it is a man hunt for Binny Boy.
What kind of sadistic idiot wouldn't oppose ANY war? Only a complete moron would actually WANT to go to war.

the only hypocritical response here is yours.
IF you remember correctly...(apparantly you don't) it was the Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Rice/Powell/Wolfoweicz HAWKS that got us into the region....not the "messiah".
so, you can criticize "your messiah" all you want...but he didn't put us there....and you just can't pull all troops out at this point.
Now...do you remember how ignorant you were when you voted for Bush?....good....stick that in your pipe and smoke it retard boy, cause that was just about the dumbest thing you ever did in your life. eat your crow.
Have you called the Marines and signed your enlistment papers? I'm just curious because you seem to think that's what everybody else should do. While I support the troops and am grateful for everything they do, I completely disagree with the idea that it's unfair to them that they're in Afghanistan. When you sign up you should accept the possibility that you might actually be called upon to do your job. We've been in Afghanistan for almost 8 years now, so nobody should be surprised to be there in an all-volunteer military. Deployments are more frequent than they should be, and that's a shame. But at this point most of the people in the service right now should have had an idea they'd be in the Middle East. I don't know who got polled, but it's my belief that Afghanistan is a war we need to see through. Yes, we supported the mujahideen against the USSR. That was the containment policy (adopted by most of the powers of the free world during the Cold War) at work. That's not where we fumbled. We fumbled when the Soviets were defeated and then we did nothing to rebuild Afghanistan. We had no control or good will in the country, then fast forward a decade or two and you have the Taliban and 9/11. We had good reason to go into Afghanistan, but we screwed up when we invaded Iraq. This took resources and manpower away from Afghanistan, basically put it on the back burner, and that's a big reason why progress has been so slow. And who cares if 57% oppose? History has shown that the American public cannot fight a long war.

I'm sure he really doesn't give a shit what you think cracker ass.
Constitutions and democratic governments cannot be installed by an outside force. They have to come from within the people themselves. Maybe we could apply pressure, such as reducing aid sent to countries that are blowing the crap out of each other with the promise to resume aid once they reach a peaceful solution, but you can't just say "Here, write your own constitution and it has to be like this." Just doesn't work that way.
It seems that you have forgotten that the Russians were communist when they entered Afghanistan. Maybe you also forgot that in 79 we were in the middle of the Cold War with the Russians.
Everyone seems to have forgotten that we are in Afghanistan now because the Afghan government was harboring the terrorist that blew up the WTC. Nobody should sit back and let that happen, again.
Obama knows we can't pull out until the job is done despite any campaign promises he made. I'm sure his first intel briefing as POTUS was a real eye opener.
We are starting to do things better over there. We are now sending troops that are trained and experienced in agriculture to work with local farmers. Finding a way to replace the poppy crop will go a long way to improving the financial and security issues.
