Just wondering now that Ritz ran as fast as he did, whether other American Runners who are in the sub 13:15 range for 5000m will feel as if a mental barrier has been lifted.
It would be awesome to see Teg go under 13:00 sometime in the next year.
I realize US Distance running is still light years behind the E Africans but between Ritz's 12:56 and the fact US women have 4 1500m runners who can run sub-4, it has been a great year.
I really hope the performances of these runners helps transform the mentality that we also can run with the E African Juggernaut.
