Stupidd PSA.
1. Few people will watch this start to finish. Frankly, it's boring and predictable.
2. It tells us nothing new. Operating mobile phone while driving can be distracting? Car crashes can be gory? REALLY??

I don't believe the girl was texting when she was driving, but she was driving WAY too fast and was an unexperienced driver. If you want to see what happened, google "nikki catsouras pictures." WARNING: THESE PICTURES ARE GRAPHIC. VERY GRAPHIC.
Driving is a task that needs your utmost focus. PLEASE pay attention while driving.
She looks like she was a very open-minded individual. Those pictures made me hungry. I'm assuming her family went with an open casket as well?

Let me say I'm sorry that the young ladies died. BUT, thousands at the service? Naming portions of the school after them? Sounds like they were being glorified for their stupidity. (Realizing they weren't all driving and texting.) Was the driver included in the glorification?
They were all cheerleaders who had just graduated. We have been very fortunate not to have many student deaths in my HS's history, and I live in a very safe, uneventful town. This was kind of a big deal. Hardly glorified, but certainly mourned.

I was responding to the Queen video, you nitwit. Try to keep up.
The PSA should be shown to all teenagers. Especially in drivers ed and drivers school.
I am 23, not a teen. I text when I drive all the time. I never look away from the road. There are 12 keys. Its not too hard to move your fingers, find the right one, hit it the right amount of times without looking at your phone. I have eyes on the road, on the mirrors at all times, one hand on the wheel, one hand with the phone txt. No t9 or itap, simple clicking the keys. I have never remotely been close to hitting someone, never had to brake hard ect.
Some people are crappy drivers, most of the time it is teenagers, and women. I admit I get scared when I see people around me on the phone, txting ect, cause they are over lines, swerving ect. Usually when I do it, its in my lap, out of sight, and I am not looking at it at all.
Hmm WOW. Good luck in life!

Yes. How the hell did they film that? That was not a still shot and looked to be a real child with pin-hole pupils and very stiff and unresponsive. my stomach turned at that.
Every teenager should be forced to watch this.
Only text when you're stopped in your car. I only text at redlights.
Luckily I have figured out how to grab my iphone, unlock it, and hit the next button for my music without ever taking my eyes off the road. However, I do have to wait till I stop to plug the iphone in since I actually need to look for that.
A lot of my friends text while driving though and it always seems so dangerous.
Why thank you, dont need it. Already have everything under control. I dont see how the way I am txting is any different than someone driving a manual or using one hand to do something. As I said, my eyes are always on the road. I get a type o now and then, but oh well, spelling everything right isn't worth my or anyone else's safety.
Yes, I completely agree txting is dangerous while driving. But I think that other things are much more dangerous, that you cannot make illegal. So you reaching down for a CD, to pop in your player, pushing buttons on your GPS, eating a sandwich, grabbing a drink, all these things have more of a risk than txting the way I do.
I am not a teen girl txting gossip, usually its an "ETA 5:56"
or something like that, and I honestly dont see the problem, nor will ever stop doing it.
