Teg's tactics have got him 4th at a World Championship. Let me know when Rupp does the same.

ummmm....except for it was really stupid.
I agree with most of your post, but if you look at what he was responding to it was pretty rabbid remark. That's not exactly what I would call telling "someone to settle down a little bit".
Calling someone an idiot, and "are you really that stupid" is pretty annoying stuff. I think this is a discussion board, not just a fact placement board so why can't people discuss???
Otherwise I agree with your post, and I would have loved to see Rupp in that race. I think he Solinsky and Teg are all ready to run great in a 13:10 5K race if not faster. I was wondering why the heck Teg did not try to win it a 300 out or earlier though. No harm in winning a race and he looked like he was holding back.
Anyway worlds is the most important part of this season and I'm sure we'll see a lot of these 3 in europe next summer with no international championship to peak for.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Jager dip under 7:40 at his upcoming 3K in Monaco, hopefully Solinsky can get down to 7:35. It's pretty exciting for American distance fans with at least 3 Americans in the realm of what Kennedy was doing at 3K and 5K (plus Lagat) and more lined up to be there very soon.
Ohh, as for your first line I too agree that Rupp is capable of a great 1500 mark based on what I've seen, but I don't think it will be a walk in the park. And I don't think there is any harm in stating my opinion. Teg hasn't broken Kennedy's ARs at 3K or 5K despite many hard attempts, but I still think he can.

How was it stupid? Seemed on point to me. Unless you're one of those "fanboys" the poster was talking about.
ya... not a stupid comment at all... unless you're a fanboy hanging from rupps nutsack... I like Rupp alot too, just not enough to glorify every tempo run he does like others...
can't wait till Rupp has his 3:28/3:45/12:45/26:30 season that you all think he'll have
"seriously,
8:06-8:10
think of how he compares to Ritz and Webb when they ran those 8:11ish times"
This is from another thread but it proves my point.
