While acknowledging that each woman's experience will be unique, I am looking for anecdotal information on how birth control affects the training of the LR female runners. (Men please contribute with info about wives/gfs/friends, etc.)
I started Nuva Ring a couple months ago and feel an increased chronic level of fatigue. Additionally, even though I still am lifting about the same amount, I am finding it hard to retain the same muscle mass, and experience heavy dead legs more often while running. Is this real, or all in my head? (Sympathies to the males out there who have to deal with our irrationality, which seems often to be compounded by birth control.)
