Hall is toast.
Let's start the bidding on when he falls off the lead pack.
The hills begin at 16 miles, right?
I'm going to say Hall is off the back by mile 14.
I love him, but this is so dumb.
Go Hall, Go Kara.
The holy grail: Larry Rawson has managed to combine "the shoes weigh the same as two slices of break" AND "leg turnover" in one sentence.
how can they go that fast with a 10 to 12 mph headwind?!? Something's gonna give one way or another!
kara is looking hot. hope she is wearing her titanium necklace
Robert C weighs 140? I'm 6'2" also, guess I could drop 25 pounds
someone tell this hall dude that he's running 26.2 miles, not 10k!
Hall is going all Wanjiru or Radcliffe. I'm digging it.
Cheruiyot just pulled up alongside Hall and the announcer said he was reminding him "Hey Ryan, if you want to win the Boston Marathon you're going to have to deal with me".
Also mentioned that Cheruiyot doesn't like to lead until he makes a move to win.
The race will really start when Cheruiyot makes a break. Hopefully Hall keeps enough in the tank to respond and make it a race after the hills.
I'm standing here pacing back and forth ....Go Ryan! I'm actually really happy to see him take the lead. This is indeed a change from seasons past where the top US runners were unsure of themselves and lingered behind. Ryan will have the reserves to be near the top at the finish line so the others know he is being pressured to succeed here. They are all keying on the US Re-emergence into the marathon scene. Go Ryan!
this commentator is an idiot. Please do some real research and know what you're talking about. Hall in New York?? WTF was that all about?

He's been training at altitude and knows hills. I'm betting you're wrong.
I'm thinking that Dryer looks hot too.

I said the exact same thing about Wanjiru in Beijing. Never happened. He wouldn't be at the front if he wasn't feeling great and ultra confident in his training. This is great to see.
10k in 29:28. Insane.
29:30 great stuff, minus the commentary
Women 55:41 at 15k, that's 18:35 for the last 5k (slow still).
Men 10k fast, time coming...
29:30 at 10k
hall looks smooth, smart by being in the lead, no surges in the water stations. good strategy
Hall drops the arm warmers!
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
