It's the last year of La Nina ocean pattern, usually the COLDEST winters in the USA. Kind of scary because other than this year they haven't been very bad.
El Ninjo starts up next year, it's going to be a bake oven in the USA for the next 5 years. We f'd.

Thanks, what I mean is a compilation of avg temperature separated between rural and urban instead of the two individual stations on the main page.
I'm not aware of such a breakdown, but the database provides the Lat-Long for each station should someone wish to do that. The purpose behind the project is to audit the sites to establish if their setup might affect the accuracy of the data.
