Kosgei clearly doesn't do much more than he has to in order to win. He hasn't raced much indoors, and the few races he has run, he has done just enough to win. The mile is his only race at ECACs, and he knows he's borderline, so look for him to run fast enough to secure a spot at nats--I'd guess he's looking to hit the auto this weekend. Kaul is a great runner, but until he proves he can beat Kosgei, I wouldn't put him in the same league. Actually, I wouldn't put any current D3 runner in his league and very few throughout history.
