I stand by my earlier statement. Here is a case in point. why in God's name would Florida need an indoor track?

Of the good tracks that I have run on:
1. Arkansas
2. Nebraska
3. Notre Dame
4. Iowa St.
and then about 15-20 others that don't come close

Armory has lost some bounce with all of the abuse it receives regularly.[quote]
The Armory has just been resurfaced in the last month, so it should have a lot of bounce this season.

I like the Armory, BU, Reggie, and Harvard. Harvard's facility has good ventilation if you are running a longer race. BU has nice sweeping turns particularly for the middle distance and distance races. For 400m down, I prefer the higher bank of the Armory.
The oversized NAU indoor track at 7000 feet would be perfect for a 200m PR!

Boston University (when I ran on this in '97 it was the biggest piece of shit ever. The track would cave under your feet. Did they build a new one?)
They built a new one a few years ago. It makes up for our lack of an outdoor facility.

That's a contradiction.

i feel terrible for you guys. the winter is the hiatus for t/f here in so cal. we still workout in the winter often though, outside in the sun, at the beach, through the park...
We're doing that too, but we're also competing at a high level. You're missing out on a lot.

Springfield College (Mass.) D III also has the new surface, not banked, but same surface as Beijing
Does Springfield have an INDOOR track?
TEXAS A&M FTW!
I'm not really a fan of Yale and Harvard's tracks, I think the banks are too steep, it forces the whole field down into lane 1, things get pretty congested.
The bubble in Tom's River, NJ is easily the greatest indoor track of all time.
Iowa State is nice.
St Olaf has a lovely 300 meter D3 track. Quite an upgrade from the ankle breaking 157 yard track I ran on in college.
Iowa has a track that is one of only 3 like it in the world. It was built for the world championships in Portland and then moved to Iowa.
There are a lot of great facilities in New England, but the Crossplex in Alabama is outstanding. Great championship venue, with plenty of room for multiple field events being contested at once, hydraulic banked turns, plenty of seating, and a warm-up area under the stands.
How has no one mentioned Spire?
Also, what about YSU?
Nebraska-Kearney is amazing. And Doane is so good, it reminds me of Cheeri-O's... and I LOVE Cheeri-O's!
How has no one mentioned Texas Tech? It’s a very nice track going into year 2.
Liberty? Never been but looks incredible

I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
