Where are you guys getting Texas to win the men's competition?
They graduated most of their distance talent.

2009-Big 12 Track & Field "Indoor" Predictions

Why the quotation marks in the thread title? Do you mean kind-of-but-not-really indoor?
I know that UT graduated a lot but I thought they had some decent sprinters coming back. Surely they will finish no lower than 3rd so it's not like I picked OSU or CU to win it.
texas graduated exactly 2 MD guys, manzano and brown. they still have 3 guys who've gone below 1:48
what sprinters? their mile relay was a bunch of mid distance guys and their sprint relay ran around 41 sec
When did Stanley and Thorne graduate? Manzano was a pretty good one. He was a guarentee 10 points.
So who do they have that has run under 1:48 besides Hernandez? I do not recall another one.

Tevan Everett ran 1:47.82. His twin Tevas ran 1:49.92.
UT returns the following guys from last year's indoor team who ran at least provisional times:
Hernandez
Tevan Everett
Morse (4:00.41/7:59.21)
Miller (4:00.50)
Raymond Harris (2.18 HJ)
Maston Wallace (5.33 PV)
Will Paine (5.20 PV)
Shawn Schmidt (5414 Hept)
When did Joe Walker Leave Texas Tech? He was a John McDonnell guy ex-. athlete.
He was the glue that held the TTU program together
when coaches were not at work or off doing USATF functions.
I can't believe you just referred to Joe Walker as holding a team together. He was one of the most unintelligent disliked people I have ever met in my life. We used to spend 15 minutes a day talking about what a F@#$ing idiot Joe Walker was. I've never met someone with a worse small man syndrome in my life. Hahaha... Joe Walker is the worst thing that ever happened to Texas Tech. Besides my roomate figuring out that Coach Kittley was cheating on his wife that is.... hahaha.
