Going to visit the in-laws for Thanksgiving, and I'm looking for a race somewhere near Wilkes-Barre or Scranton, PA. I already found the Diamond run in Berwick, but that's too far away.

I looked around and couldn't find anything.
The Diamond run is pretty big so maybe no one wants to compete with it.
I know you said it is too far away, but the Run for the Diamonds is an awesome race. The atmosphere is amazing. Everyone in this little town comes out to support the race. The course is very challenging (big hill from mile 2 to 3), but it's also got a long downhill from 4 to 7.
And on the plus side, the race starts at 10:30. Plenty of time to make it down from Scranton. You can easily make it back before 2 PM, which is still early for Thanksgiving Day gorging.
My advice: race in Berwick. You won't regret it. And make sure you show up for next year's race. It's the 100th running...how many races can say that?
bump
I'm not sure if any of these are close by, but the runwashington calendar lists events in Pennsylvania...
Doesn't Dunder-Mifflin put on a 5K?

Yes, but it is for rabies awareness and takes place earlier in the fall.
