This may be a stupid question, but I was just wondering as I was looking at the latest qualifiers for the trials in the marathon, what is the difference between the "A" qualifiers and the "B" qualifiers.
Thanks for the help,
marc

"A" runners get their trip to the trials paid for, "B" runners have to get themselves there.
hmmm, let's see what's fairly obvious. hmmm, seems like the "A" qualifiers have all ... RUN FASTER !!! under 2:20, I'd say.
sorry, just yanking your chain.
yeah, sub-2:20 is an "A" qualifier. sub-2:22 is a "B". A's get there expenses to the trials paid. B's get to run but nothing more.
Thanks for the answer, I don't mind you giving me a hard time I know it may have been a simplistic question. I thought of one more question though. How does it work at the trials? I knew it used to be the top three went now what is the deal, do we determine how many get to go based on the times and does it work that way in other countries besides the US?
