She's extremely young...not such a strange improvement.
I'll be stunned if she doesn't win the gold in the 100.
She is 24, and has been running at an elite level since 2000. Is that 'young'?

There is a widespread use of drugs among jamaican sprinters. As among american sprinters. As among greek sprinters!!!
The greeks are dirty!
If you watched kerron's last two years in college you could see it was just a matter of time. In college she was/still is coached well by henry rolle (also coaches Marc Burns) at Auburn who had her focus more on the 200 then the 100. Kerron is a terrific athlete and works very very hard
and prior to that was "coached" at essex cc....and followed in a long line of people who blew up after leaving that place
Even if your poorly hidden accusations of steroid usage are correct, I'd still respect her more than you. What kind of pathetic person needs to make up stats to point a finger at someone juicing in the olympics. Someone delete this thread.

be careful. it's ok to say Americans or white people (e.g. greeks) are dirty...but not Jamaicans. They are black and poor, so they're clean.
you've got an extra n in your name.
oohhh man! you're funny!
yeah, I'm a bozo because I'm not stupid enough to believe the Jamaicans are clean.
good stuff.
ps. you're a moron.
American blacks make up less than 12% of the US population but form virtually the entire basketball team that is crapping on the rest of the world, and they also comprise the vast majority of the players in the NFL and the NBA. It's impossible! There must be some kind of cheating going on!! Same thing with the Australians! How in heaven's name have they managed to place so many people in the finals of all of the swimming events? And did I see two medallists from Belarus when there aren't even 10 million people in Belarus and they finished 2nd and 3rd in the women's shot put and the best American was only 12th? Two Cubans finished ahead of the first American woman for goodness sake. How many people are there in Cuba? They must have cheated! They must be too old, too young, doped, they must be men in disguise. Don't they know only Americans are allowed to do crazy thigns like win 8 gold medals with 7 world records and win medals at age 41, and go 1-2-3. When the US goes 1-2-3 in the 400IH (with a Trinidadian native running for them), that wll be an example of a legitimate sweep. If they do it in the flat 400m, that too will be a good sweep. If anyone else does it, it's cheating!
Easy...yellow yams from Trelawny.
What's troubling is not that sprinter "x" improved or sprinter "y". What's troubling is when a tiny nation--albeit with a history of success in sprinting--all of a sudden sweeps the women's 100 and runs first, fifth, and sixth in the men's 100. Similarly, how is it that the Russian woman take three of the top four places in the steeplechase, especially since their top 800 and 1500 meter women were found to be dirty (the Russians have poured tens of millions of late into their sports programs, let by Fetisov)? I've been watching track and field for over forty years, and I've never had the feeling I have now--sadness tinged with helplessness. And no, I don't think the African distance runners as a whole are dirty--that is, I think Bekele and Geb are certainly clean, as are the Kenyans.
