I am going to be keeping a log of all my running/training in the form of a message board so I can get comments and advice from everyone.
Introduction
I have been running since I was 15 and competed in high school cross-country and track and field. I am now 19 years old. I made it to the Oregon state meet twice, once when I was 16 for the 4x400m relay and another time when I was 17 for the 4x400m relay as an alternative.
Over the winter during my senior year I slipped on some ice and hyper extended my hip and pulled my groin a bit (I pretty much did the splits on ice while running). I am healed from that completely now. This last year I haven’t done nearly that much running, maybe an average of 20 – 30 miles a week for the year. My main goal is to just get faster and have a lot more endurance. Thanks in advance for everyone’s comments. Please feel free to ask any questions.
