Thank you.
Hogs with 3 studs- 2 good guys after that (I hear Sandfort is out of shape). Anyone after that? Stanford has some serious depth...it's early, but it's going to be a dogfight at the big dance...
Even prenationals results hardly ever tell who will show up at nationals the best prepared.
5 guys under 24:47 on this course is big time. This team is good. Remember from 2000, it only takes 5 to steal the show. The Hogs don't have the depth that Stanford (or even CU) has, but they have the guns up front. Cragg and Lincoln are both title contenders. 24:00 on this course is really moving. Godfrey ran 24:11 on this course, and then went on to win NCAAs over Mark Carroll by 30 seconds.
Could someone post these results? I can't use that link for some reason.
the wood chips seemed to cause a lot of footing problems for those runners who wore spikes with hard plastic on the bottom (like the Kennedy's). but i think the wood chips were a nice addition to cover up any possible mud.
You need an acrobat reader. Get one for free here: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html
Gouch with course record at 23.40ish, Falcon as the only guy to ever break 30 min over 10k on the course.
Did anyone notice the unnattached runner in 32nd, I believe,...Duncan Cragg. Any relation?
You are wrong about Falcon being the only guy to ever break 30 on the 10k course... Falcon, Steve Fury (OSU All American in '85) and Simeon Sawe (Lubbock Christian '95)... they are the only 3 to ever break 30min... and Paul Larkins ran like 30:04 (OSU NCAA indoor mile champion '85??)
super swede -
goucher ran 23:24 in 1997. i read it at the meet today (well, yesterday now)
Yes, older brother was at SMU
yeah. I'm sure you're all right. I've been out of the game a bit...Falcon still has the CR right?
Yes Falcon still has it
Any results from the college division?
