I ended this season somewhat disappointingly. It's my 2nd year running (used to swim until I tore my labrum) and I only managed to PR by 1 second in the 1500. I've been running a lot more mileage than I was last year (from less than 25 miles a week to 40-50) and I'm also a freshman in college so those two big adjustments could be factors.
here are a few track workouts I did-
5x400 with 45 sec rest between. averaged 69s.
(200, 300, 200)x2 100 jog rest between 200s and 300s and full recovery between sets. went 30/48/30 for both sets.
I ran a 4:24 this season (4:25 last season). Am I underachieving or adjusting?
