I've got an awful feeling about our marathoners this summer. Looking at the humidity levels (twice as much as Athens) I feel that any of our marathoners that train at altitude have NO chance. Last summer in Osaka the Ethiopians made this mistake. They simply felt like the heat and humidity was something that they could simulate at altitude and they were wrong. I feel that no american woman will finish in the top 10. Ritz will Dnf (he pulled out of Healthy Kidney) Hall will fade to oblivion. Sell will finish 10th. Although I think Sell will be the best prepared. I don't think that he is good enough to medal.
I hope that I am wrong and that all of the marathoners move to Southern Texas for the summer, but I doubt it.
