I just finished my junior year of high school, with an open 400m pr of 49.1 and a best relay split of 48.8. I also ran on our 4x800, and split 1:56.8.
I really want to reach that next level for my senior year. Do you have any advice for what I could do over the summer to prepare myself? I hope to have a strong indoor season so as to cement my college hopes, and then my goal is to win the state in the 400 and 4x8. Should I be doing long runs over the summer? Should I be doing track workouts like I do in season? Any help would be much appreciated.
